Massachusetts Local Cultural Council Grants

Individuals, schools, and cultural organizations are eligible to apply for project support from Ashland Cultural Council. Funding for cultural field trips is also available through the PASS Program, which subsidizes the cost of admission for students to attend performances, educational tours and exhibits. Grants from LCCs are reimbursement-based.
(The applicant expends their own money, and if approved for a grant, then submits paperwork for reimbursement.)

Ashland Cultural Council will make funding decisions that best meet the particular needs and priorities of their community within the parameters of the broad state guidelines. Our Cultural Council conduct community input to gather feedback about their community's specific interests and needs.

Applicants should review Massachusetts LCC Program's criteria and eligibility requirements and any local guidelines and priorities before completing an application.

Aplicants then complete the application form, print it, sign it, and mail it to the Ashland Cultural Council:

Mailing Address:
Ashland Town Hall
101 Main Street
Ashland, MA 01721
(P) 508-881-0100

Applicants should review the application in September and contact the council if they have questions. Applications must be postmarked by October 15. Council Members review and vote on the grants late in the year and mail determinations in December-January.
